You can’t talk about this series without mentioning the unique monsters that surround her.

First, there’s the protagonist, a boy named Hiro.

His story starts with the shocking fate of losing his life, but he is resurrected by the Princess’s power and fights alongside her as her servant.

Supporting him is the cool and noble Princess (Ririane) herself.

Watching her wield a chainsaw with such overwhelming aura truly earns her the title of “Princess.”

You also have characters like Liza Wildman, a werewolf warrior sworn to loyalty, and Reiri Kamura, who possesses a quiet yet unshakable inner strength.

My personal favorite is the silent android, “Flandre”!

She may only say “Fuga,” but every word carries so much meaning.

I can’t help but love the gap between her overwhelming power when defending the Princess and the way she sleeps with a snot bubble while charging.

This saying originates from the German phrase “Blut ist dicker als Wasser.”

In this series, “blood” is the most important theme that drives the story.

From the complex fates and bonds between royalty to the “blood contract” forged at the very beginning of the story, this proverb perfectly symbolizes the mysterious relationship between the Princess and Hiro.

2.”Actions speak louder than words.”

This is the perfect proverb for my favorite character, Flandre.

She may not use words, but her actions say it all.

She doesn’t need them. Her overwhelming actions in protecting the Princess are a testament to her loyalty, and that is her greatest charm—the reason she captures the hearts of her readers.
