🌟 Celebrating 30 Posts! A Small Detour Today
Hello everyone! I’ve finally reached my 30th post on this blog. Thank you all so much for your support! ✨ Today, instead of my usual review, I’d like to take a moment to talk about a theme every manga fan has faced:
“Should I read manga physically or digitally?”
There is no “right” answer. However, I believe both formats offer unique joys that only they can provide.
📱 The “Freedom” and “Discovery” of Digital Manga
Currently, I enjoy most manga digitally. Especially since I started reading on a 10.1-inch tablet, my manga experience has changed.
- More Detail than a Print Volume: Being able to enjoy artwork on a screen larger than a standard book is a huge advantage of digital.
- The Magic of Zoom: If you think, “I wonder how this background was drawn?” you can zoom in freely! Discovering the author’s fine brushwork is a thrill only digital can offer.
- A Library Without Borders: Thousands of volumes in one device. No matter where you are in the world, you can jump into a story the moment you want to. Once you experience this freedom, it’s hard to go back.
📘 The “Physicality” and Memories of Paper Books
Even so, physical manga has a “soul” that a digital screen cannot replicate.
- The Special Existence of “Berserk”: I still continue to buy Berserk in physical print. The overwhelming energy and passion of Kentaro Miura-sensei is something I want to keep as a “physical” presence, with all its weight and texture.
- A Sanctuary Called the Bookshelf: Watching your favorite spines lined up on a shelf is bliss for a collector. The experience, including the cover design and the smell of the ink, makes the afterglow of reading even deeper.
🌈 My Honest Thought: Dreaming of the “Ultimate Hybrid”
To be honest, I also want the digital version of Berserk! (lol) I want to zoom in on that incredible artwork on a big screen and appreciate every single detail.
“Physical for your favorites, digital for practical use.” Instead of choosing one, the intense passion that makes you want both—that might be the true form of manga love. If I had enough money, I’d love to own my entire collection in both formats! 😇
🏁 Conclusion: Your Manga Love is Wonderful in Any Form
Physical is “warmth and presence.” Digital is “convenience and freedom.” Whichever you choose, the heart that loves manga remains the same. The most important thing is choosing the style that lets you relax and immerse yourself in the world of the story.

- 場所を取らないライブラリ：何千冊というコレクションが端末1台に。世界中のどこにいても、読みたい瞬間にすぐ物語の世界へ飛び込める。この「自由」は、一度知ると手放せません。
📚紙の本が守ってくれる「実体」としての記憶
それでも、紙の漫画にはデジタルの画面では代替できない「魂（たましい）」が宿っています。
- 特別な存在『ベルセルク』： 私は今でも『ベルセルク』だけは紙の本で買い続けています。 三浦建太郎先生の圧倒的な熱量がこもった作品は、その重みや質感ごと手元に置いておきたい「別格」の存在だからです。
- 本棚という名の聖域： お気に入りの背表紙が並んでいる様子を眺めるのは、コレクターにとって至福の時間。表紙やカバー、紙の匂いを含めた「体験」は、読後の余韻（よいん）をより深いものにしてくれます。
🌈本音を言えば……「究極の二刀流」への憧れ
実は、本音を言うと『ベルセルク』も電子版が欲しかったりします（笑）。 あの凄まじい描き込みを大画面で拡大して、隅々（すみずみ）まで拝（おが）みたい……！
「お気に入りは紙で、実用は電子で」 そんなふうに、どちらか一方が正解ではなく、両方欲しくなるほどの熱狂。それこそが漫画愛の正体ではないかと私は思っています。お金に余裕があれば、全部「二刀流（にとうりゅう）」で揃（そろ）えたいくらいですね！😇
🏁結論：あなたの漫画愛は、どんな形でも素晴らしい
紙は「温かさと存在感」。電子は「便利さと自由」。 どちらを選んでも、漫画を愛する心に変わりはありません。大切なのは、あなたが一番心地よく、作品の世界に没頭できるスタイルを選ぶこと。
